Trip Itinerary:
From Baja´s oldest city, Loreto, we will travel north by car to the palm-lined banks of the Mulegé River where your journey along the rugged gulf coast begins. Fin Whales frequent these waters, and sightings are not uncommon. You will visit a sea lion rookery, where you have the opportunity to snorkel or dive in the water with these friendly marine mammals, simply enjoy and photograph them from the boat. Every day will bring new adventure as we explore islands, uninhabited  beaches, remote coves and at a relaxed pace capture the feel and beauty of Baja and observe at close range the abundant sea-live. Traveling with newfound friends, you'll explore the coast and the sea. Our trip will take us into cool inviting sea caves, to bird nesting islands and deserted beaches. As weather allows, we´ll visit Isla Ildefonses, the spring nesting ground of the comical Blue-Footed Boobie, and Isla Coronado with its aquamarine coves. Isla Carmen´s beaches and sea caves invite further explorations.
We will camp each evening in a protected cove, on one of Baja´s many beautiful white sand beaches. we generally make camp early, leaving plenty of time for individual pursuits including hiking, diving, snorkeling, water ski-ing, fishing or beach coming. Or you can take one of our kayaks for a paddle around the cove. As the sun sets and evening comes, you can plan on delicious diners with plenty of fresh ingredients around a friendly, open fire. A peaceful night´s rest under starry skies invites another day of adventure and exploration.
