It's located in the most high part of the Sierra Juárez, on the
north of Baja California State. The way to get there is by using the Federal
Highway No. 2 Mexicali-Tijuana, until get to a little town called La Rumorosa
in Km. 73, then keep your way to the north side taking a breach that past
away the El Chipo Restaurant, that directly take you to the arqueology
zone, getting through by the Santa María del Oro Ranch ahead in
Km. 3.
ORIGIN
Around three thousand years ago, penetrated in Baja California State various
migrating groups, they were the Yumanos, wich came from the South of United
States. The Prehistoric natives were nomad, hunters and collectors; when
the time past the village got divided in groups, each one got some territory,
where in looking of subsistence resources that the nature proportioned
them. Between the first colonists there were few groups like Kumiai, which
lived since the coast to the Highlands. As collectors, they go over all
their territory looking for fruit and seeds, such like the acorn, the pinion
and the little apple. They make use of the rocky preservations to protect
themself of the natural elements, moreover if near of it where water large
earthen jar and enough nourishment (food), in these places they make temporary
camps, where they stayed a short time. As their handprint on their way
these groups of natives left all over, kind of grinder=mortero= in which
