now has 2 service planes, 1 personal and 1
basic business. There are several ways to get a system for use of DirecWay, 2way, in BAJA. In General, you have to have a US address and phone number and a credit card, the system has to be installed by an licensed Installer in the US. 1) You can buy the system from your dealer or our affiliated Supplier and have it installed according to the FCC rules by an licensed Installer and commissioned at your or a friends home in the US. Then you can take your DirecWay, 2way, down to Baja and reinstall it there or have us help you to reinstall it. The reinstallation is not as easy as with a DSS TV dish, the pointing of DirecWay, 2way, is very critical and you need to have the exact local GPS coordinates. If you use it with a different Computer you also need to have a fast, 28,000+, live Internet connection to do the recommissioning of the USB modem. Presently mostly Satellite. SatMex 5 is used for all new DirecWay, 2way, Installations in the west, before that G4R, G11and SatMex5 had been used. SatMex 5 has a much better Signal for Baja 2) We can get you a preinstalled system, have it activated , we do have the software to do activations on SatMex5.(New accounts only), and you can pick it up in Ensenada to reinstall it yourself. Best is to bring the Computer, (no Monitor, mouse, keyboard) so we can have the modem commissioned to your computer and you will not need to have a fast live internet connection to set it up at your place in BAJA. (A Sat phone or domestic Cellular is not fast enough to set it up).We will give you assistance by phone. E-mail if interested 3) We can get you the system, have it activated and we install it for you within 150 miles from San Diego. (We may do it further south if you pay the extra milage and lodging). Normally the 2 way Internet Satllite system is not for RV ing as it is very difficult to point the Antenna to the Satellite, much more than pointing an TV dish, but it is possible if you are technically inclined, we will soon have a how to page available. number, a US credit card, Social Security # and a nearby live Internet connection
if you change computers, like in the case that we do the activation here. It
only works with a PC running WIN98SE or better, if you have a MAC than
