Cetto Winery presents "Una Bohemia en la Cava" with Mexican and Italian
musical selections, a wine conference by enologist Camilo Magoni, and dinner
served by Restaurant Saverio's. L.A. Cetto's Cava Wine Cellar is located

Aug. 1-5: Mision Santo Domingo Fiestas (northeast
of San Quintin)
This traditional country celebration is held at the adobe ruins of
the mission dedicated by Dominican padres Manuel Garcia and Miguel Hidalgo
in 1775. Festivities include rodeo events, horse races, games, regional
foods and live music. About ten days prior to the opening of the Fiestas,
cowboys begin a cabalgata vaquera, an 80-mile trail ride from ranches
in the Sierra de San Pedro Martir to the mission site. To reach Mision
Santo Domingo, turn east before the bridge in Poblado Chula Vista (about
2 miles north of Colonia Vicente Guerrero, or 13 miles north of San Quintin).
The scenic 4.5-mile dirt road is suitable for most vehicles, but hairpin
turns could be difficult for large RVs. Overnight camping is available
at La Mision Rancho Montes Campgrounds which are in walking distance of
