Thru July 7: “Ventanas,” a Photo Exhibition
Renowned Ensenada photographer Tomás Castelazo presents “Windows,” a collection of 36 digital color prints of Baja's vineyards, fishmarkets, abstract plants, desert landscapes and rockscapes. July 3-5: Don Eddie's Sportfishing Tournament in San Quintin
Hook up to trophies and prizes during a two-day outing at Don Eddie's Landing. First place wins 40% of purse; second 20%; third 15%. Entry fee ($50dlls.) includes tournament t-shirt. Anglers are encouraged to bring their own boats but a few pangas are available by reservation. July 4: Independence Day (U.S.)

Mexican Federal Elections
Because of Mexican federal elections on Sunday, the "Ley Seca" (Dry Law) will be in effect from 12:00 midnight on Friday, July 4 until 10:00am on Monday, July 7, a total of 58 hours. Bars, liquor stores and restaurants in Mexico cannot sell alcoholic beverages during this "Ley Seca" period.

July 5: 2nd Annual Arts & Crafts Fair

July 12: La Sociedad de Vecinos de Punta Banda Country Fair

July 26: Enological Visit to L.A. Cetto
11am-5pm: As part of its annual "Colores de Vendimia" Grape Harvest Fiesta, L.A. Cetto Winery offers a tour, wine tasting, country luncheon, entertainment and conference "The Vine and Wine" in its vineyards in Valle de Guadalupe, 25 miles northeast of Ensenada at Km. 73.5 on Highway 3. July 26 & 27: National Bicycling Championships
9am: More than 650 youths between ages 5-14 represent their Mexican states while competing for gold in their respective classes. Females race on Saturday, males on Sunday, along Ensenada's Blvd. Costero. Awards presentation is at approximately 1:30pm each day. July 26-27: "El Gran Cañon" Off-Road Race
Join the excitement as more than 100 four-wheelers, ATVs and motorcycles compete on a challenging off-road closed circuit lap course at Rancho Preciado near Doña Petra Canyon at the end of Av. Ruiz. On Sat. is tech inspection at 6pm next to Ensenada's Riviera Convention Center on Blvd. Costero. On Sun. the race start is 8:30am with award presentations at 7pm. Aug. 1: L.A. Cetto Gala Dinner Concert
6pm: As part of its annual "Colores de Vendimia" Grape Harvest Fiesta, L.A. Cetto Winery presents "Una Bohemia en la Cava" with Mexican and Italian musical selections, a wine conference by enologist Camilo Magoni, and dinner served by Restaurant Saverio's. L.A.
