Oct. 25-Nov. 8: Day of the Dead Exhibitions
Día de los Muertos, celebrated on November 2, is one
of Mexico's most traditional religious holidays as deceased loved ones
are remembered with special altars, flowers, candles and their favorite
foods. A sweet bread, pan de muertos, can be found at bakeries,
and candy skulls, coffins and skeletons are featured at dulcerías.

Golf Tournament
Some of the world’s worst golfers put the pros to shame on a 9-hole
desert course at Restaurant and Rancho La Bufadora in Punta Banda, 20 miles

Annual festivities held at the mission founded by the Jesuits in 1752

in the southeast section of the state, Mision Santa Gertrudis is one of

Nov. 20: Revolution Day (Mexico)
This date commemorates the beginning of the Revolution of 1910 that
was led in the defense of the rights of the Mexican peasant. The Revolution
culminated in the Mexican Constitution which serves as a foundation that
protects the goals and ideals of the Mexico of today. There are parades
and civic ceremonies throughout the Republic. In Ensenada, the parade begins

Over 270 entries in 24 Pro and 5 Sportsman classes
for
cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs compete in the
famous 765-mile off-road race that starts and finishes in Ensenada. Entrants
are from 26 U.S. states, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Guatemala, Brazil, Uruguay
and France. Contingency & tech inspection is Thurs. from 10am-6pm
on Av. Riviera across from Hotel La Pinta. The race starts Fri. in front
of the Riviera Cultural Center on Blvd. Costero, with motorcycles and ATVs
taking off at 6:30am, and 4-wheel vehicles at 8am. The finish line and
Survivor's Fiesta from 4pm Fri. until 6pm Sat. is inside Antonio Palacios
