Aug. 29-Sept. 1: Labor Day Weekend Invitational Eight Ball Tournament

Aug. 30 & 31: Don Eddie's Labor Day Sportfishing Tournament in San Quintin
Hook up to trophies and prizes during a two-day outing at Don Eddie's Landing. First place wins 40% of purse; second 20%; third 15%. Entry fee ($50dlls.) includes tournament t-shirt. Anglers are encouraged to bring their own boats but a few pangas are available by reservation. Sept. 5-7: 20th Annual San Diego Street Scene
The three-day music, food and entertainment festival in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter and East Village features nearly a hundred performers on multiple stages with the sounds of rock, R & B, rap, punk, reggae, hip-hop, blues, zydeco and jazz. This year's lineup includes R.E.M., Sex Pistols, B-52's, The Allman Brothers Band, The Doors of the 21st Century, Goo Goo Dolls, Macy Gray, Kinky, Burning Spear & His Burning Band, Social Distortion and more. Sept. 7: 25th Annual Ensenada International Seafood Fair
1-8pm: Savor succulent seafood and an afternoon of entertainment at Ensenada's most famous culinary event which features a competition among the finest restaurants from Baja and Southern California on Paseo Calle Primera (Av. Sept. 20: 27th Annual J.D. Hussong Baja International Chili Cookoff & 11th Annual Salsa Contest

Sept. 27: 21st Annual Fall Rosarito-Ensenada Fun Bicycle Ride
10am: More than 8,000 cyclists of all ages participate in this scenic 50-mile ride along the Free Road from Playas de Rosarito to Ensenada.
